Continuing with elevated research, I'm delighted to announce the publication of a new paper together with my colleague Demetra Demetriou in the prestigious Attention Perception and Psychophysics journal (Scopus Q1, 91th percentile, IF = 1.7)! This journal ranks as the 9th best journal out of 1159 in terms of h-index within the languages and linguistics fields! In this study, we examine the role of acoustic cues in predicting the perception of Dutch vowels by Cypriot Greek listeners using a stepwise machine learning paradigm. We also examine the role of perceptual cues by employing the theoretical framework of the speech model I developed, the Universal Perceptual Model (UPM). Enjoy!
