The Department of Languages and Literature (School of Humanities and Social Sciences) of the University of Nicosia is pleased to announce the Advances in Second/Foreign Language Acquisition (ASeFoLA 2024) conference for the third consecutive year. ASeFoLA 2024 will take place online on 17-19 May 2024.
Our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations guides our choice to conduct the conference exclusively online this year. By aligning with SDG4 (Quality Education for All), SDG10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG13 (Climate Action), we prioritize minimizing travel-related pollution and promoting inclusivity, supporting a sustainable and responsible approach to global collaboration.
ASeFoLA aims to bring together researchers from around the world who are working to better understand the second/foreign language acquisition process. Contributions may concentrate on mono-/bi-/multilingual speakers who learn or acquire an additional language in mono-/bi-/multilingual contexts.
Call for papers is now open! Deadline: 28 February 2024
